On Saturday evening, Palermo hosted the Circoletto Fashion Night, one of the first major fashion and social events held in the city after months of lockdown and restrictions caused by the COVID-19 emergency. The event brought together representatives of the local fashion industry, guests, and performers for an evening dedicated to the return of fashion events. Produced by Rosi De Simone Eventi and held at Il Circoletto Club House in Mondello, the event featured a runway presenting creations by Sicilian boutiques, ateliers, and retailers. The evening was hosted by Cinzia Gizzi, with music by DJ Mauriziotto. The participating businesses included Chiccosa Boutique, Dainese Store Palermo, Four Seasons, Fancs V. for Irma Fiorentino Gioielli, Figure, I Colori di Roberta, Gemme sul Filo, Leone Calzature, Ottica Di Pasquale, and Rosa Alessi Atelier. Moto One participated as a sponsor. The evening also included the Fashion Night Awards, recognizing local contributions during the COVID-19 emergency. Professor Antonio Cascio, lecturer in Infectious Diseases at the University of Palermo, received an award for his work in the medical field. Fare x Bene Onlus was also recognized for its support of women and minors and for donating tablets to students at the Giuliana Saladino school in Palermo’s Cep district, helping them continue distance learning during lockdown.
