The Italian National Unity and Armed Forces Day was celebrated on 4 November 2025 at the Consulate General of Italy in Madrid, with the participation of Italian and Spanish authorities, accredited defence attachés, and Italian military personnel stationed in Spain. Ambassador Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, Consul General Spartaco Caldararo, and Defence Attaché Captain Massimiliano Siragusa highlighted the dedication of the Italian Armed Forces in ensuring security and protection, while also emphasizing the strong friendship and close cooperation between Italy and Spain in defence and international security. The ceremony concluded with an evening reception at the Consulate General, illuminated in the colors of the Italian Tricolour, attended by approximately 350 guests, including senior Spanish civil and military authorities, members of the diplomatic corps, accredited defence attachés, and representatives of the Italian community in Spain.
